I went down to Washington DC to see the Chinese New Year's parade. The crowd was throwing those snap pops on the streets before the parade came by. Since it's the year of the dragon, I have a picture on the right of one. Afterwards, I went downtown to check out the new exhibits at the Contemporary Art Museum.

It seems that my MakingIt.ws website is doing well and I'm pleased. I consider it my best website. How can I ever top it? Do I have to save baby whales now? Perhaps I have to fix the hole in the ozone layer. How about if I become a scientist and figure out why women's hair is thinning these days? The list is endless I suppose.

On the serious side, I was looking at songs that included the website's message in their lyrics. Unfortunately, I rarely listen to lyrics. The only song that I came up with was Depeche Mode's song, People are People that had half the message. If you know of one, let me know. Thanks!

I saw the town's fireworks last night for the New Year's Eve celebration. Other news is that I updated a few of the pages on this website recently.
