Gena and I went up to DC to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom today. It was such a beautiful day walking around the bison area. Along the way, we saw a live band called Levi Stephens. The were really kicking. We also inadvertently saw a lesbian marriage at the WWI memorial. That's the first time I saw a gay marriage. I went to the Nationwide race and the Daytona 500 race this weekended in Daytona, Florida. Unfortunately, it was the coldest race that I've ever been too. I froze my butt off as I watched the crew patch the asphalt TWICE! We didn't stick around for the last part of the race since we figured they would cancel the race. I went to the Pro-Life March in Washington DC today but was a bit surprised that there was a lot less people than last year's parade. I say about 5/8's less people showed up. I circled around the protesters to see where they were coming from, from their banners. I think the farthest that I saw was Canada and Michigan. Less travelled this year.
